A. Account Registration When you create a Lingovato account, we may ask you to provide your age and email address.
In some countries, we may also ask for your phone number.
You can also register using social registration accounts such as Google or Facebook.
In this case, we may obtain some information from your social registration provider, such as your email address and contacts.
You can manage your account and social registration options through Settings.
B. Profile Page and User-Generated Content After you register, a profile page (“Profile”) is created for you.
This profile is populated with information you provide, such as your name, username, bio, and profile picture (“User-Generated Content”).
Your age, phone number, and email address are not included in your public profile and are not considered User-Generated Content.
Other users may be able to find your profile using your name, username, email address, or phone number.
Your profile also displays your learning progress, such as the languages you are learning, learning statistics, and achievements, as well as a list of your followers and the users you follow.

This information may be collected and used by third-party websites or tools.
You can change your privacy settings and make your profile private through the settings.
Comments posted by you or others on your profile are user-generated content.

Lingovato also reserves the right to restrict or delete any content that violates these guidelines or for any other reason.
C. AI Features and Video Calls Lingovato offers a video call feature that allows you to have AI-powered voice conversations with Lingovato characters to practice the language.
Other AI-powered features may also be available, enabling you to send text or voice messages within open conversations.
The text or audio you submit may be shared with AI technology providers such as OpenAI.
Lingovato may also record, store, and analyze this data for product improvement and personalization purposes, including training AI models.
Please do not enter any personal, sensitive, or confidential information when using these features.
D. Speech Activities Some activities, including video calls, require you to speak within the app.
Audio may be sent to third-party service providers such as Google, Apple, or Amazon Web Services for speech recognition.
You can skip speech activities and disable audio sharing for product improvement purposes through your privacy settings.
Your voice recordings will not be used to develop any voice cloning technologies.
E. Contact Sync Feature The Contact Sync feature allows you to find your friends who use Lingovato.
When enabled, it grants the app permission to access contacts stored on your phone.
Lingovato does not store contact phone numbers, but rather maintains encrypted copies (hashes) of them that cannot be traced back to the original number or used to contact or share with other parties.
F. Activity Data and IP Addresses We may collect data about your use of the Service, including device and browser data and your IP address.
We may use this data to recommend other users or to display an approximate location in your profile (you can opt out).
Your IP address is retained for no more than 30 days, unless exceptional circumstances require a longer period. H.
Cookies We use cookies to store certain data and improve your user experience.
You can control your cookie settings through your browser or through the Privacy Preferences Center.

Audio data is stored locally on the device only.
Lingovato for Schools This service allows you to join virtual classrooms supervised by teachers who can monitor your learning progress and manage your accounts. You can leave the classroom at any time through the settings.
Do Not Track
The service does not respond to Do Not Track signals from browsers.

Users will be notified of material changes at least 7 days in advance.
